Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the Getty Villa in Malibu. The renovation completed a couple of years ago by architects Machado and Silvetti is spectacular. As you can see in the stair details above, the attention to detail and use of materials in the new and renovated buildings are extraordinary.
Much of what was exhibited that caught my eye was jewelry from between 400 BC and 300 AD. (see image to the left).
